This story begins like a trite novel. It was a dark and stormy night. I have worked in Christian broadcasting and very often fill the pulpit for pastors. One Sunday night I was to be the guest speaker at a church about fifty miles away from where I live. This is "back in the day" when there was no GPS system. I had the written directions with me in the car, but it was dark and they were hard to read. Not only that, but there was fog and rain. The church was somewhat in a rural setting. I drove down the road and saw a steeple emerge from the fog and pulled into the parking lot. When I went into the church meetings were taking place in the various SS rooms. I had audio and video equipment to enhance my message. I took everything into the sanctuary and got it all set up. The pastor came in and shook my hand and started a conversation while I was adjusting the equipment. He told me, "Don, I would love to hear what you have to say tonight, but you know you are scheduled to speak at a church down the road a bit." We both laughed and I packed everything up and went to my appointed engagement where I told the story and we had another laugh there.
