SoundView Ministries is a safe place to tell your story, experience an interlude of rest and restoration. SoundView Ministries exists to encourage, support and help restore Christian Leaders.

SoundViewMinistries provides a safe place for people in Christian ministry to explore personal and professional issues that have become obstacles to their effectiveness as leaders. SVM will equip you to revisit and refocus your calling.

Come for a healing ‘break’ from ministry. Work with Pastor Ted and Jane Hutchinson, professionally-trained coaches with 40 years’ experience in church and mission work. You will find a safe, confidential environment to tell your story and share your challenges. We will devote ourselves to active listening, coaching and some counseling. You can expect to experience a strong mentoring relationship, offering encouragement and guidance to help you develop a plan for renewal with follow-up support. You will find your visit to SoundView Ministries a time of encouragement, support and restoration.

As a break from the scheduled session work, you will have “free time.” This may include assigned reading, reflection, prayer, journaling, or a discipline of silence. We also encourage quiet rest periods as an essential part of ‘rest’oration.

SVM does not provide television or internet access to guests and we encourage you to limit cell phone use during your stay. Though no recreational activities are provided by SVM (with the exception of boating by special arrangement – summer only) many are available in the area which you may choose to pursue on your own.

When you register you will receive a welcome pack with questions that help prepare us for your visit.
