Be Still Retreats - Wisconsin

Be Still Retreats is a cost-free, adult only retreat facility serving Christian clergy and ministry leaders.

Vision: A world without clergy burnout.

Mission: Serve, encourage, and inspire Church leaders; promoting growth in their relationship with God, their spouse, and support staff.

In 2015, inspired by a pastor’s sabbatical, the Urbans founded Be Still, Inc., a Wisconsin 501(c)3 dedicated to preventing clergy burnout. Leaving the cranberry industry, they self-funded Be Still Retreats in 2016 and devoted their lives to serving full-time. Their children Ruby, Breckin, and Archer- pitch in to keep the mission thriving. Be Still Retreats provides FREE stays for Christian clergy, featuring 5 cottages, a day cabin, a meeting barn, and scenic trails on 170 acres near Plainfield, Wisconsin.
