Pastors Encouragement Jar

My pastor had been feeling the pressure of the ministry for a while. Now it was time for us to appreciate him but he felt like it was no big deal so he did not want us to take up the whole day of church, including two services. He did not want dinner served. He wanted to keep it simple - just one service and then go home. But we talked him into a “no big deal” cake and punch deal. But we also had an “encouragement jar.”

This is a jar where people could write on a post it words of encouragement for the pastor. The jar had heart stickers all over it and the words, “Pastor’s Encouragement,” on the front. The words in that jar really blessed the pastor and let him know that he is really loved. All for under $5.00
