16 Hours of Service

Our Pastor has been pastoring for a number of years. The Marriage Ministry decided to shower him and his wife with gifts for the number of years he's been the shepherd of our church. Each couple picked out their own unique gift (gift, cards, flowers, lunch, money, dinner, massage, pedicure, manicure, hair-do, etc.). We began the morning off by delivering the first gift to the Pastor, 2nd hour First lady, 3rd hour Pastor and so on. This event happened on a Wednesday night.

The last gift was to be disbursed at the close of bible study, by one of our county deputies. He rode up with his sirens and lights on and everyone focused on the lights. Pastor ran outside to see what was going on in the parking lot and at the door was the deputy holding the huge gift from him and his wife. The whole day was hilarious and unexpected, it took them bout 4 hours to realize what was going on.
