Pray; Lest Ye Enter Temptation!

by Ade Ben Olufadeju

A lady who was preparing for her wedding has despised the warning by her Pastor to pray ahead of the program. The intending groom had been skeptical of the relationship at the outset due the lady's known past.

On the wedding day, during the sermon the Pastor told the congregation that the scripture he was going to quote was the mind of God towards the wedding. To convince the skeptical groom, he wanted to quote I John 4:18 which would have read: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear..." but mistakenly announced John 4:18! Someone read it loud: "For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband..."

The already biased groom walked out of the marriage!
