What Scripture would you use to preach to a former Pastor that has resigned, but the church is still wiling to give them a Pastor's Appreciation Day?

ANSWER: I think I would preach a pastor appreciation sermon in the same way I would for a pastor who is staying. My approach to the sermon would change, but I would use the same passages. Try some of these for help:
