SonScape Retreats exists to deepen the spiritual, emotional and family health of those in vocational ministry. Christian leaders are under tremendous pressure. The SonScape experience offers a safe place to come away and regain one's identity in Christ and calling from God. For over twenty-five years, our week-long retreats and year of follow-up for couples and singles have focused on spiritual renewal, proactive self-care, burnout prevention and crisis intervention.

SonScape is such a blessing

My husband and I attended last year and had a wonderful, restful time. The experience reenergized our ministry and gave us tools to implement to prevent burn-out, improve communication and most importantly - connect with God. The staff is so thoughtful and intentional with everything that they do, the way in which we were cared for was truly exceptional. They have continued to connect with us after our time there as well. SonScape should be a line item in every church budget for the care of their pastors and ministry leaders. The above comments fall woefully short in describing the amazing things that God is doing at SonScape.

Life and Ministry Changing

One of the greatest experiences of my life outside of being a Jesus follower, husband, father, and pastor. In fact, I am a better Jesus follower, husband, father, and pastor because of my time on the mountain.

Please make this a top priority in your life and ministry to step out of the fast moving waters of life and retreat to still waters of that small voice of God who is waiting.

We went to Sonscape to rest and remember who we are in Christ. You forget yourself sometimes in ministry, but The amazing staff helped us to see God made us for something specific. The accommodations are fantastic! You will never be cared for physically, spiritually, mentally, or emotionally as well as they care for you here. You will never regret your time spent here in the presence of God. "Be still and Know that I AM God!"

Re-Creation

When my wife and I attended Sonscape we had hit the proverbial wall in ministry. We were tired and we needed both permission and instruction on how to rest without guilt.

Larry and Barbara spent the week teaching, sharing and loving us back to health. I would encourage any couple in ministry to go as soon as possible. I believe it not only kept us in ministry, but took us to a healthy level that we had never experienced before.
