Red-Tailed Roost Retreat

by Howard Crawford
(Allardt, Tennessee)

Red-Tailed Roost Retreat

Red-Tailed Roost Retreat

My husband and I have built a new all inclusive cabin that is next to a National Park, in Tennessee. There are many things to do, or you can just rest on the porch, it is very private.

It is our desire to provide a place for couples only, to refresh their marriage, and spend down time.

Come spend time with us and see what God can do!

A great getaway! NEW
by: Lloyd and Leeanne Stilley

If you are looking for a place to get alone with your spouse and get alone with God, this is it! The owners, hosts and builders of this wonderful getaway "nest" are such gractious, caring Christian people. They make you feel loved and cared for, from the moment you meet them.

The cabin is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, cozy, quaint, relaxing and quiet. There is a wonderful back porch that faces the woods and all of God's beauty. On the long ride to the cabin, you will encounter many deer, just crossing the road, or grazing in a field. We even saw them crossing near the front door through the woods on our last day there(but apparantly, they do that quite frequently).

There are a few sights to visit near the cabin in Allardt, Rugby and Jamestown (including a visit to the homestead of World War I Veteran, Alvin York). But don't come here expecting to shop or see sights, or watch tv, or get on the internet. Most of those things don't exist atop this lovely retreat mountainous plateau. What does exist is a "GETAWAY" in the truest since, and a wonderful "Retreat". You will unplug, unwind, get back to your time with God and your spouse! That is what to expect. And what a joyous time it was for us.
You won't regret coming if that is what you are looking for.

Wonderful Getaway NEW
by: Pastor Richard Cox

My wife and I spent two weeks at the "Red Tailed Roost" in October of 2009, and absolutely loved our time of renewal. Jan and Howard are wonderful Hosts, who are there for you when you need them. We had many "chats by the fire" out by the barn. They are dear Christians who love the Lord and give the Pastor and His wife their space, yet are there for some fine times of sharing. We look forward to returning for more "time away".
