Patio Make-over

Our pastor often mentioned in his messages that he spent lots of his "quiet time with God" on his patio early in the morning. Although the patio was a covered area right off the back door, it was in need of some plants and some TLC. Our congregation decided to do a patio make-over to express our appreciation to our pastor and his wife.

Some of the ladies in our congregation went to work on that patio! They not only added low maintenance plants. but used cement and bricks to add seating, added a fire pit area, had a water fountain (that had been in pastor's storage for a while) installed, and added other elements to give a little privacy. Now they have a beautiful area to use the gas grill that we gave them for pastor appreciation in the previous year.
