Pastor Phillip M. Whitwell

by Ernest Avila
(Huntington Beach Ca)

I really thank God for my Pastor who has labored working with men and women who have had no hope in their lives but was able to see hope in people. I have been under my Pastor Phillip M. Whitwell with House of Stephanas Christian Fellowship in Montebello and then for the last 6 years we have been under the leadership of Amy Semple Mcpherson and Pastor Jack Hayford with the Foursquare churches as we established our mission in the City of La Habra California. There in this ministry is where I have met my beautiful wife who has been very committed to serving the Lord and has been a Women's home Director as I was also a Men's Home Director and being able to see the lives of many men and women change their lives and becoming people who are successful in society and giving back to the community. We never grow weary as we serve the Lord Jesus Christ and I thank my Pastor and mentor and spiritual father who has taken me under his wing in spite of my mistakes and worked with me and has been able to be proud of what God has allowed him to accomplish in my life.

I have been saddened in my heart as well as Our other brothers and sisters in the fellowship have lost our dear Pastor Phillip M. Whitwell on October 25, 2008 and he went to be with the Lord. Please continue to pray for our Pastor's wife Rosa Whitwell his children Nima, Joseph, Raymond, and Trini as well as his three grandchildren Brandon, Lucas and Danielle as well as his son in law Jeff who has been very helpful to him.

Thank you again for your prayers
