New Trails is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We are located on five acres of land that backs up to thousands of acres of national forest. New Trails offers wilderness sabbaticals as a way to spend time away from the stress and challenges of ministry.

New Trails is staffed by Rod who is a retired pastor with over 36 years of experience. Rod is also a licensed therapist with over 16 years of counseling experience.

We offer a small cabin, daily hikes and time for reflection each day. We can also provide a supported backpack trek lasting between 3 to 5 days, depending on your desire. For more information please see our website.
