Is Ordination Required for Baptizing Someone?

by Dianne
(Hendersonville, Tenn USA)

Does a pastor have to be ordained to baptize someone?

ANSWER: In my opinion, a person does not need to be ordained before he can baptize someone. I also believe that the person doesn't even need to be a pastor. Anyone can baptize anyone.

However, if your denomination or church require either one, then that is the way it should be done in that congregation.
