Full-Time Senior Pastor

First Church of God

Principal Function:
To be the First Church of God, Peace Dale RI’s Full Time Senior Pastor. To be the Spiritual Leader for a group of believers who come from different walks of life. Provide Biblical leadership to the church body and minister to the spiritual needs and concerns of the First Church of God and surrounding communities.

Professional Requirements:
1. Accept and adhere to Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) beliefs and doctrine.
2. Must be ordained and credentialed through Church of God (Anderson, Indiana).
3. Must be able to effectively communicate the teachings of the Bible through the English language.
4. Must be able to lead and direct church staff and lay leaders while maintaining an atmosphere of unity and teamwork.

Personal Attributes:
1. Ability to minister and lead a multicultural church
2. Whole-hearted devotion to God as demonstrated by a Christ Like lifestyle.
3. Deep compassion and genuine concern for the lost and a burden for the community.

Compensation package:
($40,000 – $45,000)

2. Health insurance
3. Travel reimbursement
4. Gasoline reimbursement
*In addition: Church parsonage is provided for the pastor and his family. (utilities not included)

It has been and continues to be a multi-ethnic church and has worshippers from various cultural backgrounds.

Our ministries range from community service to the spiritual development of people who want to follow Jesus. Whenever necessary, we care for both the physical and spiritual needs of the believer.
