Dr. Stanley T. Hillard, Sr.

by St. Luke Baptist Church
(Houston,Texas)

A very Unique and special man, my pastor. I thank God for the life and ministry that he is sharing with our congregation. I have never seen one man give so much of himself to exhibit so much love and kindness for the sheep. He is a man of whom one can trust and believe in, he is man of God who does not compromise the word and shows no difference in people. He is a positive driving force in our church, community, and city. There is the evident presence that he has been with the Lord and spends much time in the presence of the Lord. To know him is to love him. His love for God shows through his extension of himself in giving to mankind. He does what he has to do and more still finding time to spend with his loving wife and son as they too share in his ministry.

God blessed our church by giving us such a loving and devoted pastor and family. I know that God has great blessings on his life and I only pray that he will always be who he is for God. He led us to get heights because he loves us, he has saved many because he served us. He is a pastor's preacher and friend. He's humble, meek, and gives God all the glory for anything that he does. My pastor is unique and one of God's greatest gifts.

My old friends
by: Carolyn Carrington Adair-Turner

I met Pastor Hillard years ago. He married my cousin Eleanor. They are two of the finest people I know. We were all college students at East Texas State University, now Texas A & M, Commerce. You are blessed to have them. I returned to my hometown of Pittsburg, Tx. I am employed with the Pittsburg Independent School District. Tell Stan and Eleanor hello for me. May God continue to bless Dr. Hillard, his family, and your great congregation.
