Diamond T Ranch

by Tom Wagoner
(Clark Fork, Idaho)

The Diamond T Ranch is a 137 acre guest ranch lying in the scenic Cabinet Clark Fork River Valley between the Bitterroot Mountains and Cabinet Mountains in far north Idaho. The ranch is located across the road from hundreds of thousands of acres of National Forest and just a short walk to large Clark Fork (of the Columbia) River. We are a four season resort open year round.

Although open to the general public, our primary purpose is to provide a low cost Shepherd's Rest for evangelical pastors and missionaries to assist them in re-creating, recharging and resting.

The ranch offers clean, modern log cabins overlooking a pond surrounded by mountain views. It has fishing ponds, hiking trails, a fire ring, a petting pen, playground, horseshoes, volleyball/badminton, and wildlife watching. Horseback riding is provided for a fee by a neighbor/outfitter.

We are located five miles from Idaho's largest lake which offers fishing, swimming, boating and sightseeing tours. There are other activities and sight seeing opportunities in this wild and beautiful area, including skiing at Idaho's second largest ski area, just 35 miles away.

Each log cabin has a kitchenette, but there are also a variety of restaurants within five miles of the ranch. The Shepherd's Rest rate is limited to seven days, and is not available on the three summer holiday weekends.
