Bro. Darrell Wimberly

Our Pastor, has a heart of gold. He loves his family and his church family. God brought him to our church a few years ago as we had been praying for God to bring us the "right" man for our shepherd. When Darrell and his family came into the church for the first time, we knew in our hearts that God had sent us our Pastor.

He is the Dean of Students at Marion, Illinois High School and he tries to memorize every new Freshman's name, so he can greet them. He usually has all their birthdays written down also, so he can tell each one Happy Birthday on their special day, so they will not be forgotten.

He has such a heart for the Youth and our youth group loves him. We are truly blessed to have Darrell Wimberly has our Pastor at the East Liberty Christian Church in Southern Illinois. (A little church with a BIG heart for God)
